I made some birthday cards a couple of days ago....one for a friend's 35th and another for my girlfriend's Dad who turns 50 soon. They are using the new stamps from the latest Kaszazz release. The first card (for the 35th) is using the Aussie Guy stamp, the All Boy paper range and the Happy Birthday Stamped stamp. I also used the gorgeous new blue SB essentials paper - Ocean. I coloured the man with watercolours to match the paper and voila!!
Here's the 50th one below... using the new fence stamp and the birdhouse.
Today (and yesterday for some) was the May 2010 Team Training Day for all consultants and their guests. I was lucky enough to host another one this time and as usual thoroughly enjoyed myself. Here are a few pictures of the girls hard at work. We ran through a business session, the new products, 2 demonstration cards, 1 tag to make, a card workshop and a scrapbook layout workshop. I think everyone had a great day and I have attached some competition photos to see also. Penny won first prize for her gecko on the wattle branch - lovely masking there Pen and Toni won 2nd and 3rd (i told you all to enter!) for her two cards, the gecko and the man at the pub. Well done to you both, the cards were awesome!! As you can see from the pics they all LOVE getting their picture taken - lol - they are in the "working and concentrating mode".
On Thursday a few of us got together for a regular social scrap. 5 Kaszazz consultants and 1 avid follower - Michelle O, Michelle D, Kelly, Georgina, Kylie and me. We had a great day making this layout - Penny chose it but couldn't make it on the day so thanks for picking a great layout Pen, I hope you got the chance to make it up anyway. We varied the colours between us from brown and blues to greens and turquoise to denim they all turned out awesome. Thanks to the fantastic ladies for the company on the day I really love our scrap days together. Here's what we made - there's a bit of everything in this layout, bling, smoodging, embossing, punching, cutting, stamping - created by an awesome crafty Kaszazz consultant, Naomi Elliott.
After what I am guessing to be over a month, Kylie (bf) and I have been working on this page. We got the idea from one of my favourite scrapbookers Irene Tan in Malaysia at http://www.scrapperlicious.blogspot.com/
she is amazingly detailed in her designs and I try to follow her ideas where i can. So this page is simply called "Haylee" - i didn't want a title but it needed something so I just called it that. Hope you like it, it has taken a while to finish and I am really happy with the results. Kylie changed the blues to greens and that looks great too. The petals were handmade and took the most time.
Hello and welcome to my work in progress....I am a mum of two very outgoing children who keep me on my feet all day. A wife to a man who works hard for our family and doesn't like my craft at all (lol) and a dedicated yet part time Admin Assistant for a charity organisation. I have a love for motorbike riding as well as craft and love to shop - who doesn't right?! Back onto craft - craft in general has been a BIG part of my life for so many years I couldn't possibly tell you when it all first started. Around 2008 I fell in love with Papercrafting, of all forms, off the page, scrapbooking and card making and stamping (my fave). Going from just fun to running my own party plan business with Kaszazz and then back to "just for fun". I hope you enjoy the journey with me as I experiment with techniques, colours and product and learn with me also as I inevitably make mistakes and disasters....all in good fun. Enjoy!!
